The Marketing Manager will support branded business and the strategic development of the go-to-market plan.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting and leading the strategic development and execution of the brand's marketing plan. This role is responsible for the development of the brand and communication strategy. This position conducts the business analysis needed to drive sound decisions and build sound marketing strategies, manages the product portfolio, leads the development of product initiatives, and develops and executes the consumer promotion plan.
The Marketing Manager possess and executes upon four key skill sets:
Strategic Planning & Innovation Strategy (anticipate trends to keep leadership position)
|Develop annual brand go to marketing plans and budget (Customer, Consumer, Shopper, Product)|
|Review marketing tactics based on brand and customer strategies|
|Identify, generate and synthesize and activate on consumer / customer insights|
|Identify and generate channel insights - Product, customer, competition and Create category specific brand positioning plans|
|Customer visits to gain understanding of what is occuring in the market place|
Sales Execution (focus on sell in & in market activation)
|Lead strategic planning process to achieve growth objectives and meet brand positioning targets|
|Collaborate and support Sales team with customer opportunities|
|Lead customer specific marketing program consisting of elements, timing and investment|
|Prepare presentations in support of customers and channel opportunities|
Marketing and Promotion Execution (focus on sell in & in market activation)
|Social Media Plan Development, Execution and Strategy Enhancing and Driving Brand Interaction (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Website)|
|Execute on developed marketing plan (Website, demos, recipe cards, response to customer questions)|
|Assists in development of an integrated brand image and message throughout all advertising, packaging and promotional efforts - Development and Execution of Consumer Touchpoint Campaigns (Web/Club/Helpline)|
|Evaluates creative - ensuring the most motivating messaging reaches target consumers|
|Manages agency relationships and leads the preparation for internal and external brand presentations|
|Prepare monthly status update to retail team|
Performance Management (manage to the plan)
|Lead the cross-functional development of a prioritized customer target list across channels|
|Monitor and report on results to plan (Gather sales reports, customer reports, sales data, supply data|
|Manage the execution of ad agency expectations on projects (Manage reporting, update meetings, creative briefs)|
|Measure campaign effectiveness and communicates results - Optimize for future activities|
Reviewing available data (e.g. IRI) to determine where we are at in the market place
|Operate as subject matter expert for NAE/Farm Promise brand communications|
|Attend and partipate in corporate social responsibility initiatives|
|Attend and parcipate in weekly channel management meetings|
|Build network to develop pipeline of future talent for CFG|
