    Responsibilities

    Sourcing

     

    Negotiate, manage and monitor contract renewals and terms.

     

    Optimize inventory.

     

    Coordinate the sourcing of new equipment.

     

    Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential vendors.

     

    Seek, develop and maintain co-packing relationships.

     

    Ensure compliance with government regulatory requirements (i.e., SBA, minority sourcing, etc.)

     

    Ensure processes exist for procurement activities for entire organization

     

    Develop plan to make recommendation on consolidating all procurement activities under one organization.

     

     

    Supplier Insight

     

    Gather insight and coordinate new information from existing and potential suppliers.

     

    Keeps up on current trends on all packaging, seasoning and equipment.

     

    Develop vendor scorecards.

     

    Hold vendors accountable to targets on scorecard.

     

    Coordinate annual vendor summit to help drive improvements.

     

    Coordinate insights gathered from vendors to connect vendors with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and innovation.

     

    Social - vendor relationship

     

     

    Talent Management

     

    Develop KPIs and metrics for procurement team.

     

    Review progress on team metrics, initiatives and development.

     

    Create developmental plans for procurement team (behavioral skills, technical skills, initiatives, etc.)

     

    Reassess team responsibilities and realign accordingly.

     

    Assess gaps in ERP to optimize replenishment activities and make recommendations for improvement.

     

    Lead daily and weekly staff meetings

     

     

    Team CFG

     

    Work with all support areas to identify opportunities

     

    Participate in company initiative team(s)

     

    Attend participate and or lead in leadership development opportunities

     

    Support CSC through participation in customer presentations / visits

     

    Participate in Area organizational meetings (Supply Chain, Retail, Food Service)

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    •  Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required

    •  Minimum 5 years experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Purchasing and/or Supply Chain
