Customer Relationship Management and Channel Support


Team alignment to grow targeted Foodserve/Retail Customers
Train & Support Bus Development tools to drive growth - pricing, materials, etc
Oversee/engage for key strategic growth opportunities/close larger opportunities
Ensure one page plans align with Fresh pork activity needed
Coordinating to drive category management activities with senior account managers through both internal and external customers


Product Demand Planning & Execution


Maintain active growth pipeline for primals, review quarterly against established KPI's for performance
Out front position goals established, communicated, and KPI's identified on assigned primals
Identify supply / demand needs within marketplace, communication across channels to adjust strategic direction
Establish daily / out front pricing based off contribution margin goal, provide guardrails to empower team to make decisions effectively


Product Management for assigned primal


Evaluate product specifications versus industry and make recommendation on Fresh Pork specifications based on cost & return
Responsible for coordinating resources and partnering with Commercialization team to drive spec changes and New Opportunity request to completion for customer facing requests
Collaborate with Sales Analyst by reviewing monthly results vs. plan for assigned product families. Determine any actions needed to address gaps and document in action log



Talent Management


Hire, onboard and develop Fresh Pork account managers and associate account managers
Perform monthly coaching tool sessions with direct reports. Provide strengths and opportunities based on performance. Agree on actions that need to be completed in the next 30 days to move business forward
Establish on-boarding plan for new department team members
Identify the hard and soft skills needed in roles and effectively coach team towards improvement



Team CFG


Participate in cross functional task forces as available
Participate and inspire team to participate in Leadership Development Programs
Participate in Clemens Food Group sponsored personal growth programs




Position Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
•  Minimum of 3-5 years experience in sales with a strong customer centered focus
•  Export knowledge is preferred
•  Ability and willingness to recognize and respond to new concepts
•  Excellent written/verbal communication/presentation skills
•  Multi-task oriented and a team player
•  Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where change and growth are part of the culture
•  Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills preferred
•  Ability to travel from time to time
•  Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
•  Lead through example 
•  Must possess a positive Attitude
