Responsibilities

 

Strategic Account and Growth Opportunity Management

 

Identify and align team to grow targeted Foodservice Customers
Account management for key strategic accounts and growth opportunities
Ensure strategic one page for assigned strategic customers
Coordinating to drive category management activities to drive customer value
Participate in key customer business reviews with plan to align on strategy and drive account growth
Ensure execution of customer strategy using identified KPI's to track results

 

 

Product and Inventory Management

 

Maintain active growth pipeline for assigned product categories and establish KPI's to track
Manage Rib booking process and tracking for the organization
Establish and execute on out front pricing and inventory position and track progress towards for assigned product categories
Establish pricing guidelines for assigned categories based on supply / demand needs in marketplace and inventory position
Oversight and execute of forecasting process to ensure production/dry goods supply needs are in place to meet demand
Responsible for driving margin results that exceed plan for assigned product families

 

Channel Support & Insights

 

Equip Business Development team to support sales channel
Drive marketing support needs for fresh pork to support
Review fresh channel kpi's and adjust strategy to improve
Interface with Channel leadership to align resources to support Fresh Pork growth
Develop best practice assortment and application trends in the channel and provide tools to share with customers

 

Team CFG

 

Participate in cross functional task forces as available
Participate and inspire team to participate in Leadership Development Programs
Participate in Clemens Food Group sponsored personal growth programs

 

Qualifications


•  Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
•  Minimum of 3-5 years experience in sales with a strong customer centered focus
•  Export knowledge is preferred
•  Ability and willingness to recognize and respond to new concepts
•  Excellent written/verbal communication/presentation skills
•  Multi-task oriented and a team player
•  Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where change and growth are part of the culture
•  Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills preferred
•  Ability to travel from time to time
•  Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
•  Lead through example 
•  Must possess a positive Attitude
