Within the Clemens Food Group, the Pricing Manager is responsible for strategic pricing activities across the retail, foodservice, and business to business channels. Areas of focus will include base pricing strategies, promotional execution, customer program pricing, customer consultation, and category planning. This role offers a great opportunity to focus on commodity market evaluation and build processes to deliver pricing strategies that enable long-term growth for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic pricing process for the branded and private label categories to ensure that decision making is aligned to key financial priorities and deliverables.
  • Develop and align processes to consistently deliver margin targets through strategic pricing agreements, trade plans, category management, innovation, and promotional activity.
  • Evaluate and monitor the commodity protein markets to ensure internal and external stakeholders are making fact-based and informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership and account teams to set execution plans that deliver on strategic priorities.
  • Participate in key corporate initiatives as either a team member or steering team member to ensure that these cross-discipline efforts meet corporate objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, MBA is preferred
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in pricing within CPG or food / beverage industry. Protein or commodity market experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and execute measurable and sustainable process improvement in a finance organization
  • Strong analytics skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and SAP platforms.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and management presence; ability to present to senior management across the organization
  • Ability to excel in fast-paced environment where change and growth are part of the culture
  • Collaborative team player with service-orientation
